The Myrtlewood guitar has now been completed and delivered. This build was challenging, but I'm very happy with the results. The abalone purfling around the top added an elegant glimmer that paired well with the double abalone rosette and sea turtle inlay. I was also very pleased with look and feel of the maple neck and headstock.

As I expected, the combination of Port Orford Cedar and Myrtlewood created a beautiful tone with rich, clear lows and clean, shimmering highs. This guitar also projects with a surprising amount of volume.

But, as my time with this guitar draws to a close I'm already planning and preparing for the next project. My next order is for an OM with Indian Rosewood back & sides and a Sitka Spruce top.

Back to work.
